An Unforgettable Journey Along the French Riviera
An unforgettable journey along the French Riviera, visiting Nice, Monaco, Monte-Carlo and Sanremo!
The French Riviera — Côte d’Azur
The name Côte d’Azur, used to describe the coastline stretching across southern France to the Italian border, appeared relatively recently — in the late 19th century. Yet the beauty of this region had captured the imagination of travellers and lovers of the extraordinary long before that.
We invite you to embark on a two-day journey along the French Riviera — to discover, understand and experience what has attracted visitors from around the world for generations.
Our journey consists of several parts and includes detailed exploration of some of the most remarkable destinations on the Riviera:
  • Nice
  • Monaco
  • Monte-Carlo
  • Sanremo
  • Èze — the famous “city of perfumers”.
Tour Itinerary
Nice
The first stop on our journey will be Nice!
You will enjoy a 1-hour guided walking tour through the historic part of the city, where you will discover:
  • the famous Promenade des Anglais and its iconic boulevard;
  • the legendary Hôtel Negresco;
  • Place Masséna and the Masséna Palace;
  • the Opéra de Nice Côte d’Azur;
  • the magnificent Orthodox Cathedral of Saint Nicholas.
And, of course, there will be at least 1.5 hours of free time to explore Nice at your own pace.
Monaco
After another 30–40 minutes on the road, you will arrive in Monaco — a tiny yet exceptionally affluent principality, famous for its distinctive financial system, strict regulations and centuries-old traditions.
During your visit, you will discover some of Monaco's most remarkable landmarks:
  • Monaco Cathedral (Cathédrale de Monaco);
  • Princess Grace Rose Garden (La Roseraie Princesse Grace);
  • the famous Oceanographic Museum of Monaco (Musée océanographique de Monaco), founded by Prince Albert I;
  • Place du Palais and the Prince's Palace of Monaco (Palais Princier de Monaco) — the historic residence of the Grimaldi dynasty, whose story in Monaco dates back to the 13th century.
You will have approximately 1 hour of guided sightseeing followed by 1.5 hours of free time to explore Monaco at your own pace.
Afterwards, we will continue to Monte-Carlo — the next highlight of our journey.
Monte-Carlo
The main attraction of Monte-Carlo, for many decades, has been — and remains — one of Europe's most legendary historic casinos.
You will have the opportunity to visit the Casino de Monte-Carlo as well. The casino is open to visitors, although access to the main gaming rooms is subject to a dress code. Guests who do not meet the dress requirements may still access other areas and experience the atmosphere of this iconic venue.
We guarantee you at least 1.5 hours of free time in Monte-Carlo, after which we will make a short journey across the border into Italy, heading to the beautiful coastal city of Sanremo.
Sanremo & Èze
After checking into the hotel, we will say goodbye to you until the following morning. After breakfast — included in the tour price — you will enjoy a guided sightseeing tour of the city's historic centre, followed by 2 hours of free time.
Within easy walking distance, you will find:
  • Ariston Theatre / Concert Hall “Ariston” — the venue of the famous Sanremo Music Festival;
  • Russian Orthodox Church of Christ the Saviour;
  • the authentic historic part of Sanremo;
  • as well as numerous shops, cafés, restaurants, the seafront, beach and more.
After some final time in Sanremo, we will meet up and leave the hotel, heading to Èze, the famous “city of perfumers.”
The town and its surroundings are closely associated with the world of perfume and are often linked to the famous novel Perfume. Èze is also home to some of the world's renowned perfume houses, including:
  • Galimard
  • Fragonard
A specialist from the perfume house, fluent in Russian, will take you on a guided visit, introducing you to the history and development of perfume production.
You will also have free time to explore and, of course, to visit the perfume shops and purchase something special to take home.

Cannes
The final destination of our two-day journey will be Cannes — the legendary “Mecca of cinema”, home to the world-famous Cannes Film Festival and one of the favourite holiday destinations of the Russian imperial family.
You will enjoy:
  • 1 hour of guided sightseeing through the city;
  • 1.5 hours of free time to explore Cannes at your own pace;
  • the famous red carpet;
  • Palais des Festivals et des Congrès, the iconic home of the Cannes Film Festival;
  • the elegant Promenade de la Croisette;
  • the viewpoint near the foot of Le Suquet, close to the Musée de la Castre.
And much more awaits you in Cannes!
